Students will work together on a project researching AIM.  The posters are due FRIDAY, MAY 13th.  Students should research outside of class and use class time to make the actual posters. See "files" for the project guidelines.

The test on the Vietnam was is THRS, MAY 5.  It will be based on the powerpoint, worksheets, and Ch 22.

The Review Packet and the Enrichment Opportunity are due WED, APR 13 at the beginning of class. Don't forget, it's worth a lot of points!

Students may complete the "U.S. History Power Standards" for enrichment points. The points may be added to any test, project, or assignment the student wishes. See Ms. Hubs for a hard copy of the power standards or find them under "files" and print them out. Completed work may be handwritten or typed.

Students are free to use the review sheet on the test. Print it out from "files", write whatever you want on it, and use it on Friday's test. Don't forget! (No trips to your locker if you forget it)

The test will be FRI, APR 1. Check "files" for the review info.

Students will take a test on the "Post WW2 Questions" discussed in class. Test THR, MAR 17.

The prompt for the 11th grade research project was given out TUE, MAR 1. It is due WED, MAR 30. See the power point and handouts available on "files" for more details.  Six sources are due TUE, MAR 8.

The WW2 test is pushed back to MONDAY, FEB 28. 

A test on World War Two is coming at the end of next week. FRI, FEB 25 is the most likely date.

A matching quiz on Ch 17.1 was taken THR, FEB 17. Make it up if you were absent.

The mini test has been pushed back to TUES, FEB 15.

Be ready for a large quiz on Ch 16 on THR, FEB 10.

All U.S. History students should acquire a new notebook for second semester. Notebooks must be organized and neat. See the board in L15 for tips on maintaining your notebooks.  Here is the page set up for second semester:
